hey guys,

i was wondering something. whenever i'm low on gas, my master warning light (the one with the exclamation point inside a triangle) comes on. is that normal when you're running low on gas?

actually, in my manual it says the "low fuel indicator light" comes on. i guess it's the same thing? in any case, it would make sense for it to come on; i guess i'm just a little paranoid also, i was wondering something else: can you have the "service engine light" removed from your car? what i mean to say is, if you have the service engine light on, can you remove it permenantly from your vehicle? no, right?

You can't remove it but you usually can reset it yourself. On my A4 it was done by pushing in the trip reset knob while starting the car. Not sure about the Altimas though.

not sure what lights come on but from what the wife told me you will know when you are low of fuel ........ and if she noticed this I gaurentee you will know !!!!!!
