Anyone else running these?

I bought a t70 couple weeks back and just got the car fired up and took it down the road, buddy i bought the car from rode along with me. All i can is these turbos are amazing for the price full spool at 5k, need to get the car tuned again the old tune was deleted, buddy told me the car was almost as fast as when he had it with a tune doing 425whp.

$569, hiqh quality, spool at 5000.

not really dude. im glad youre happy buy you bought a knock off like so many others out there. nothing wrong with that at all, just dont think its a fantastic turbo. we will see how long it lasts.

never forget that.

also,
cheap
reliable
fast

you can only have 2. never the 3rd.

i know of 2 locals running master power 70s on mustangs and they are both daily driven. 1 of whom is at 18lbs and has been that way for near 25,000 miles. it still has the same shaft play of my brand new one. there is nothing wrong with master power from what ive seen.

Do more research before saying they are crap. They use all the same parts sized as Garrett's and they are interchangeable they are not knock offs. The company has been around since 1966 it comes with a full year warranty and if it does go after that it's just 300 bucks and your old core. They are a ISO 9001-2000 certified company which is very hard to come by. There is a difference between cheap and affordable.

all the info can be found here about that
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ISO_9000

here is the company site

here is a video of the facilities

I went with a .96 exhaust and a .70 side compressor i can get my fist in the inlet housing lol. Were going to advance the timing on the low end to get it to spool sooner. I'm running a full tomei top end so revving to 9k is not a problem so i have a very usable power band even with it coming in at 5k. I ordered mine from a master powers dealer being when i looked them up people were selling knock-offs on ebay which tarnished there names. A lot of domestic guys are running these and seeing great results so are a lot of supra guys.

edit: garrett use to sub out work to master powers years ago
