I've had Q45 front brakes for quite a while. I've read teh FAQ about the Z32 MC upgrade. I went out and got one but now I run into the problem of the 3rd hole that you only use if you dont have ABS. I can get the plug out thanks to Sears but I have no idea what to do about the fitting that's supposed to go inside and mate to the line.

that explains what i'm talking about. I called up nissan and they dont know what im talking about so im gonna go try to get the fitting tomorrow but i doubt thats gonna happen since thats supposed to be an internal MC component. Any ideas on how to remedy this situation? I don't have the 240 MC anymore. The FAQ says that you can use a tool to make the flare different but that's about all it says so that is useless and i cant find anything on how to do this.

Thanks,Matt

ok, slight change, i got my hands on a Q45 MC also. i can either tear it apart for the fitting or use a splitter to hook both of the front line sup to the sinlge front ouput on either MC. im not sure if this would have any effect on the braking performance. both MC's seem to be the same casting and lables short of a sinlge digit i believe in the part number

your main hope is to cut it out like Al did. I've ran into the problem that I can't find a fitting that fits. no pun intended. It should be a snug fit to the point that it will be pressed into place by the line when you install it. I have cut up an S13, an S14, and a Z31 MC with no luck. They're all too small. This seems to be a problem when you buy parts from aftermarket manufacturers like AC Delco and the like.
