ive got a slow drip from the rear of the master cyl where it meets the vacuum booster. any one know of this issue? should it be replaced?

Unless it somehow is working itself away from the booster (unlikely) then yes, it needs to be rebuilt/replaced.

Mine was doing that on my '90 FB and I kinda ignored it, being silly and 18...just topped off the fluid when it got low...and then I was going down 95 North at 80 mph, hit the brakes, and nothing at all. The seals were gone. Had to use the e'brake to stop! Not a fun exp.

yeah just replace or rebuild the MC. brakes are your friend, treat them well.

i have never seen a writeup on a mc swap, maybe you could take some pics and what not.

thanks for the reply. ill look into getting a refurb and installing it. otherwise anyone have any experience rebuilding them. Is it very difficult or can i just follow the fsm.
