1994 Q45t

This past weekend, i did the Z32 brake upgrade.. These seem like great brakes and perfectly capable of handling what I want..

However, they are extremely mushy. I may have some air in the system (and am going to rebleed soon) and that may help... however, I was reading and some other people told me that the Q45 master cylinder is too small for the increased volume of the brakes...

The brakes are certainly not nearly as bitey as I want them to be... I like when the brakes instantly respond... Thus far, the brakes are not as good as they were when i had the OEM Q45 brakes on (which are for sale ).. Its probably close but when the Qs brake system was in good shape, no competition...

Im running OEM pads, but id like to leave those out of the equation for now...

What im intending to ask here is, by upgrading to a Z32 MC or maybe finding a skyline MC that is bigger and has move volume, will this give me the added effect im looking for...? I like it when i press the pedal and I can whale on them and i get instant feedback.. I want them to grab immediately...

Thanks for the help!

Ive been looking for this link since I saw this thread...http://scirocco.dyndns.org/faq....html

Its the 'tires stop your car, not the brakes' article but it has a real good description of how the MC relates to braking performance on page 2.

Try the 1 1/16 300z with the proper fitting for a plug & play install. Makes your pedal feel a lot better. Check my link below.
