Mike, I know it is shorter but don't know the exact length. I think I have an extra one somewhere in the garage, I'll measure it and get back to you. Ken

Mike, I just measured my spare and the exterior shaft is 3 inches. That is the piece that comes out of the MC and hooks to your brake pedal. If you don't have the correct size all you'd have to do is cut off the piece that hooks to the pedal and reweld it to the shaft. Another option if there isn't much length difference would be to cut some spacers to make up the difference and move the MC away from the firewall of the truck to make up the difference. Ken

You can also check into using the clutch linkage.  Most of the ones I've seen are adjustable and have the same mushroom-carriage bolt looking end on them.  If it's too long, run a die down it to extend the threads and cut off the excess.

I'm actually more about the fabricating than the datsuns....they're simply the canvas right now :)

.....that and I've spent years working on the disc brake mods, so I've crossed the linkage hurdle a couple of times :)  I still need to do the NL's linkage, so I'm sure I'll post some pics when I do......although it will be for a dual res m/c.
