Hi there, I'm having issues with my master cylinder leaking so i decided to replace it. I already bought the new one it just needs to go in now.

The issue I'm having is removing the old one it just won't come out, I've been at it for a while and now I'm stumped. Basically what happened when I tried to pull it out is that the master broke into 3 pieces, the reservoir, the piston and the piece that connects to the pedal. I've gotten the first 2 out but now the last one is stuck in there.

I'm hoping you guys have some ideas on how to get it out.

First picture is all I can see from the engine bay, second one is what the old one looks like.

I think you bought the wrong clutch mc, the new one looks like it's for an NA. The TT master cylinder does not have the "u" shaped bracket nor the pin sticking out of the body. The TT has a clutch booster in side the fire wall that contains the rod and "u" bracket.

Thanks for the quick response, it didn't even occur to me they might have given me the wrong one, guess I'm swapping it out for the right one
