Anyone know where I can get one for my '96? The local parts stores don't stock it and the dealer wants $25.

Thanks

Auto recycler. Same gen Maxima will/should fit. More likely to find a donor Max.

do you not have a junk yard that you can go walk around in? We have a pull a part here and that cap would be $3-$4

Something like this they will just pull it. The closest pick and pull is like 60 miles away. I may just order the MOTIVE universal since it looks like it will fit my Expedition also.

In other news... I also thought I had bad front rotors on the car too due to a hard vibration at highway speed stops. After buying new rotors and pads I realized my caliper bracket bolts were seized on. I decided to take the pads off clean and re-grease the shims and put it back together. I will get a torch later. I take the car out for a drive and the vibration is gone... I'll see what happens over the next few days but it looks like I may be taking the parts back.

I love/hate older cars. This one should be hitting 250k next month.
