Just a heads-up for everyone out there...

Have an 08 SE-R since last November, and everything's great. Brake light came on about a month ago, and fluid ended up being low. Topped off a bit, and then about 3 weeks later same thing. Took it to dealer and it turns out the "master cylinder is ingesting the fluid through the booster," thus causing the loss of fluid. If you are still under warranty and notice low fluid, take it in and Nissan will replace the entire unit (at least that's what my service tech said corporate had advised them to do).

Hope this helps anyone who's had low brake fluid! Take care and be safe, low fluid could spell disaster on the roads!

Thanks for the head's up. I'll add it to the list of Common Issues as something people should keep an eye on.

there has been another issue with this, where the brake fluid was "disappearing" into the clutch cylinder.
