i cant figure out why my battery keeps dying so fast. it will run without dying 14.0 volts at idle. 12 when you shut it off. then i just watch it drain on the multimeter in less than a min and a half. sometimes as soon as i shut the car off and try cranking it again its already dead.

Either the battery is toast or the power wire is grounding out before it even gets to a fuse. Could be a dangerous situation. Search for "battery drain" in the RB forum and they will describe the necessary procedure to take to track it down. The thread is relatively recent, like within 2 months.

Yea get the battery tested. You are going to want to find that problem sooner rather than later because driving around with a minor short to ground is really hard on an alternator.
