Okay for all your information i have just recieved my excise tax for the year. my 92 Q45 is worth (to the state) $4800 with 211,000+ miles on it. $25.00 per 1k of worth which is a grand total of $120.00 excise tax.... I thought the value of cars only goes up after 25 years which then it becomes an "antique" but is this right? i am paying more excise than some people who drive 2003 vehicles.... What do you guys pay yearly for your G50's

About $60 here +/- $20 depending on if it's time to pay for the plate sticker that year... we pay every two years. I think $25 of that is a "road fee" that really goes to subsidize our bus system. Might be worth it to keep whatever the bus riders would otherwise be driving off of the road if I wasn't paying for their trip...

$13 + $20 tag fee each year.................the stated value is $600 [where the $13 comes from]After 25 years zero tax [just] $20 annually and emission exemption plus it receives a special plate.

I also paid $120 for my Q with 136,000 miles. I honestly don't know why because Massachusetts has some of the worsts road, they should pay me for driving on this moon they call roads.

so the 84k miles more i have on my Q means nothing to the state....... and our precious tax dollars we pay in to fix these god forsaken roads is worthless, because when we hit these mine fields of pot holes WE are the ones fixing our on cars with our OWN money. As well as fixing the damn pothole that causes our problem in the first place....
