^^^Yup. The DE has an extra wire (DOHC), I noticed the same thing when I looked up the MAF on the scanner at work.
Believe it or not, the year of the car matters when it comes to parts...
The MAF is a simple bolt and clip up part, IDK why your having such a problem. Depending whether or not you got the housing along with the MAF, all you gotta do (Speaking from a 90, not sure if it's the same on the DE) is unbolt the four bolts (10mm I believe) that attach the MAF housing and the air box, disconnect the post MAF intake boot and unclip the sensor itself...
If all you have it the MAF and no housing then you gotta get a special head screw driver (not sure of the name), it's a star shape (like the torx), but also has a hole in the middle of it and then put the new sensor in.
