Hello All,
It has been a while since I have been online, and having problems with my 1995 Q45. The issue is, when I stop the Q surges then dies. I kind of figure it is the MAS. Now for the problem. I got a sensor (Cardone 74-10128) which fits the 1995 Q, but prior to 11/1994. My Q is 3/1995 and am having a problem finding the 49-00288R. Now I am wondering since pin 4 is not wired, can I use the 74-10134 or remove the plug and wire the one for the 74-10128 wire for wire, left to right.

On my car has 4 pins wired left to right pins 1, 2, and 3 pin 4 is blank.

74-10128 had 3 pins and different plug.

74-10134 looks like same plug, but has pin 4 missing, which I have no wire on pin 4.

Thanks all!!!

I think it'll work from looking at the service manuals, but I haven't done it before, so I'm not sure. I'd compare the service manual for the 1996 model year (that shows the 4 wire connector with three wires like you describe) and the 1995 service manual wiring diagrams to be sure you have everything in the right place (available at www.infinitiservicemanual.com)

From what I see the black/white wire is 12V, and the other two are signal wires to the ECU. You might check with these guys to see if they have a plug-n-play adapter already made up. If not, at least they could be a source for the correct plug for your older style MAF. https://www.wiringspecialties.com/vh45-mafs-connector/

I have no experience with them, but they have some interesting stuff on their site.
