does anybody have a maf for a 93nissan240sx thier sellin and i got a question can you use a mafs from a 300zx well if anybody has one let me kno thanks

Check classifieds.Yes, you can use a 300zx maf but I think it's not worth putting it unless you plan on going turbo.

No, a sensor thats designed to measure the amount of air that your engine is consuming will not make your car faster.

However, it will allow you to measure more air if your engine has a turbocharger or something.

Stock maf limit is about 250 hp, 300zx maf is about 500 something.

but since the diameter of the MAF in the Q45 or 300zx is larger isnt more air allowed through the intake and into the engine? If I am looking for more power would an upgraded cold air intake be what I am looking for if i want to keep my stock air box instead of a cone air filter?

I could have sworn i saw some discussion on zilvia or somewhere about putting 300zx/q45 mafs on na kas'. It went something the lines of benefits being an increase in redline, not power. while the stock ka falls on its face at ~5500rpms, the power band on a ka w/ a 300zx/q45 maf was increased to ~6200.... if im not mistaken.
