what exactly are you wanting help with? touch what wire and move it where?

where there's effed up wires, there should be a soldering kit near by.

Well there should be a (black/white) wire in the A pinout, a (Black) wire in the B pin out, and a (White) wire going into the C pin out. Make sure they are in the right places, make sure they are in there, and making a good connection. Then get a volt tester and make sure you are getting 12v out of the (black/white) wire. This is the power wire. And make sure you are getting no more than 5v out of the white wire. This is the ground wire. Make sure to have the car in the Acc position. I really hoped this helped. This was my problem that I fixed today.

it's nice knowing answers, especially when you figure something out like you did, huh? it's good to hear you got it working

my friend doesn't have the clip for the MAF anymore. he just canned it. instead he just crimped a few connectors on the wires, and has them inserted into the MAF. i'd personally rather have the clip so it's a little more secure, but my o2 sensor's also using connectors instead of the oem clip; i guess after messing with it for so many years, the wires finally gave way, so i spliced and crimped and now it's all good.

heads-up: the white wire should be the signal wire, while the black is the ground. all the same, the signal wire will have a little voltage.

Thanks for catching that man.I have my mafs kinda rigged. Those pins lose there integrity after taking them out and putting them back in so I extended some wires and used LOTS of electrical tape. Does anyone know where I can get those pins??? I would really like to do it right and make a better connection.

you mean like my o2 sensor wiring and my friend's MAF? if so, then i recommend buying a wiring kit (it's still good to have that electrical tape.. at least you didn't use duct tape, or SCOTCH TAPE! i've seen it! lol)in guam, NAPA had them, Benson Do It Best i think had a bunch. k mart too.

you probably want some female disconnect terminals.

but i'd suggest it being a little more insulated,

and with shrink wrap too.

if you still need to elongate the wires to reach the maf, use heat shrink butt splices,

these are all aluminum, and using crimpers are best, pliers work fine too.

if this isn't anything to close to what you were asking, then.. woops.

oh, and OP, good luck!

Yeah I used butt connectors. And that is exactly what I need. I gotta go look today.

notttt a problem. do you have any pics of your finished product? i try to take pictures whenever i do anything; it's good for reference, and it's good for "proof" if you should ever sell your car.
