I have been having problems with the Airflow sensor 1998 maxims SE. At first I though it was the sensor I replaced that and it is worse than before.

Before if I touch the plug the plugs into the back of the sensor it would work sometimes? If it rained or it was wet it would not work. I am trying to find a replacement plug Nissan, does not sell just a plug they sell the whole harness(NO). Gone to embay and still looking junkyard next

ANY SUGESTIONS I AM LOSING MY MIND!!

in this case junkyard is the best just go and snip the harness off a junker with long enough wiring be very much cheaper and it fits in your pocket lol....j/k

Check the wiring harness. the 4 and 5 gens had nasty wire gremlins once in a while.
