Hey everybody. Been off the forum for a min, but i am back.

I need help in finding the right mass air flow sensor for my Q, i have a 1995 q45. I have been doing some research and found that the connection for the 1995-1996 q's are different from the other connections, i will post some pictures later to show the difference.

Here is my main question, how to differentiate at a parts store between the two maf's. I ordered one for $520.00, (ouch, price still hurts ) but had to send it back because the connection was different. I am thinking the part number is the key here.

IOS Price is about $460. I think you have a relatively good chance of getting a good MAF from a salvage yard - but new is of course your best bet for trouble free operation for another 10 years or so...

Thanks for all the help guys, i actually did go to Advanced, but i think i am going to look for a used one, i would like a new one though.

captainluigi, i still have my old one on, but i had to solder the connection points behind the connector piece on the maf. My car has over 280k miles on it, so i don't think you want a maf with that much usage.
