Hi have a ? about the wiring of the maf connecter for a J30T 93.? is Wiring Diagram shows pin B wire B/W , C- OR, D- B, E-W. Conenecter is wired B-W, C-B, D-OR, E-B/w which is right? Problem is engine shuts off after about 10-15min same as turning off the key restarts and runs for about 5 min. and shut off. Check engine light never comes on code "55". Checked the ignition relay,ECCM relay,Coil Relay all good. Fuel is also good is not fuel problem has all checked ok. PS Just started shuting off about 3 weeks ago. Any Help

Has anyone messed with the connector in the past? If it came that way from the factory, I wouldn't think it was wrong. Color codes change all the time... but who knows. How have you narrowed it down to the MAF? Some of our J30 experts will have more input.

The connector has been wired as it is since I have owned the car about 2 years.I have checked verything but that and the ECM.When the car runs it really runs great. Gets 21-22mpg day-day 28-29 at 75/80 mph on the interstate not bad.The only code that comes up is 55 and 3 or 4 times in 3 weeks 12 (MAF) but the check engine light never comes on.And is getting worse shuts off more often.

Monitor the 1.2 to 4.4 volts from the MAF with a digital volt meter while you drive or find a used one and swap it, if the connections don't cause problems when you wiggle them.

Consults were made to test things let them and a competent technican do their job.
