Usually the MAF will throw a code.

If you warm up the car, leave it in neutral, with the AC unit switched to off, it should be at 1.2-1.8v. At 2500 RPM it should be at 1.6-2.2v.

By your description, I'm almost certain it's the MAF.

The wire color may change by year, but I believe it to be the red, or the red/green.

This air mass meters is a very sensitive parts that needs to be careful when replacing or doin some repair in the engine system, and be sure not to litter the air mass meter with water to avoid malfunctions and damages.better yet call a prominent and professional mechanic for the installation.

Nice try Ryan, but wrong.

A MAF can be replaced by any monkey with hand tools.

No more spamming, please. THanks.
