You drive so hard your transmission went insane. It lost its marbles. :)

Usually a sound like that indicates front bearing wear.

Just had a spring snap in my clutch. Still trying to figure that one out. Horrible sound sounded like grinding couldn't move and then it would catch sometimes..only 1 year old. Had my clutch in and it caught when was sitting at a stop sign almost jumped in front of an 18 wheeler. Good thing I had my foot on the brake...missed me by about 2 inches.

maybe you shattered your clutch a little.little pieces could be rolling around in there. But it's pointless describing this to you 'cause you're never gonna know untill you TAKE IT OFF! You know its not right to have a marbly transmission, right? Get that sucker off and take some pics!

lol, i didnt mean it harshly...

update: well, i took my transmission down to take a peek; dammit wasn't my clutch disc that shattered/broken apart...

well, I replaced them anyways, along w/ the rear main seal, pilot bushing, clutch hose, slave cyl <was leaking a bit inside the dust boot>

crap! its the internal gears/synchros/bearings of the transmission itself.... agh, my luck & it was @ 197,293 miles too...

wingzero, I hope u don't have a bad time as I did when I found this out tonite!
