I have a chek engine light that needs to be cleared. The code was telling me that it was the MAP sensor but when I went to go get one, the guy told me that there was no such thing as a MAP sensor for that car. He said the closest thing he can think of is a boost sensor that was rated at like $130, but its not turbo. Is it the same thing??

What you're looking for is probably a MAF (Mass Airflow Sensor).

if it's a 40, it's a maf unless you have some uber standalone. But seeing that your odbII is still working, yeah you've a mafs.
