map light bulb

Anybody know what bulb type the map light are for a 02 I35? I have LEDs on the interior(festoon) and doors(168). The bulb guide and the owners manual doesn't tell what kind the bulbs are.

Only info I can find specifies 8 Watt.

maybe there's no bulb at all? i've looked in 3 different bulb charts and none had the map light in it. do you have the bulb out?

I got my info from the FSM (which sucks because you'd think it'd be in there). Plus I also found it here (#13) http://www.trademotion.com/par...gid=2

I guess your best bet would be to call an Infiniti dealer and ask them for the size.

There are some bulbs but I did not take them out. I will do it in the morning and see if I can read the bulb. It looks like the old style twist on bulb but in a miniature size. the LED look so much nicer and has a nice white output instead of the yellow look.

do you solder your leds in or are you looking for a relacement led bulb?

Just replacement bulbs from ebay.
