Heyguys, I know that this is a pretty old question, but I have used the search button, and found out that no one has actually given a straight answer to the question. So, me being so curious, I decided to find out myself.

Truth is that the harness for the doors on the manual windows only has one connection under the dash (for both sides). While the power window/lock has two. I was wondering if I needed to pull out the whole harness from under the dash, and just swap it into the manual windows?

I want to try, but all the wires are all taped up together, and I'm scared of trying to cut it off in fear of cutting one of the wires underneath.

Well, I'm off to try to solve this problem. When I figure it out I might do a thread on how to switch from Manual to Power.

If anyone has any good ideas on how I might make this swap easier, feel free to let me know. Any help would be appreciated.

Wish me luck!

My friend bought all the parts for the swap and did some research on it. There's 4 wires to run from one side to the other. I'm guessing it's something witht he door lock timer and you probably dont need to rip the dash out. You can do the research on your own cuz that's as much as i know about it : P good luck man

Well, to take off the doors without cutting the wiring, it is required to take off the dash for the passenger's side. It was a pain in the *** to take out the dash, then putting it back on, but I did it sucessfully! (cheers)

I decided that it wouldn't be worth my time doing this swap, and I'd rather focus my time on painting my car!

:D
