My door is banged up real good (power window) and there is a manual window door at the junkyard. Will the innards just swap over?

Thanks,Jess

Well first thing, get a 9v battery (the type you see for your smoke detector) and then test the motor to make sure it's good. If it makes some grinding noise pass it as they're expensive to replace. I think they run around 200 or so at dealership so they're a pretty costly item. So yeah they'll work fine as long as you grab everything on the inside of the door. The wiring is something else you should have a look at when you're at the donor car. It shouldn't be hard, just a bit of a pain to get the wires through the grommets.

Dunno about those auto locks. If you're talking about an alarm with door locks, I think those can be done away with and have the solenoids from the stock system used. For the door stuff, basically grab everything on the inside. The install will be much easier that way and shouldn't cost that much more. I'm pretty sure if you've an s13, any of the s13's door innards will work. However, remember to grab any of the extra wires that run the door locking system that lies under the dash as the manual door crank system may not have that part of the harness on it (or you could check for it yourself either way would work)
