Can anyone point me to a tail-shaft plug that will properly seal a MT so that the transmission oil doesn't spill all over the place out the tail-shaft when manhandling the transmission as part of removing and replacing it?
Tried a Google search but there is more noise than any appreciable hits. I remember reading a forum somewhere that someone bought a set of tail-shaft plugs off eBay for is Z32 but could not recall which forum I saw that post.

No guarantee that would hold, and if it doesn't, then I've got a big messy puddle of old oil. Been there, done that, and never again.
Worst case would be to find a used driveshaft yoke as a plug as I've done that with Fords, but those are plentiful and I was able to get it free. Not sure about a Z32...
Could always go to a junk yard and find a shaft there for the yoke. That would work perfectly, little pricey, but it will work. Maybe see if someone is selling a bad shaft so you can cut off the yoke

I bought one off Amazon, it was red. My friend used the same one the other day, it didn't seal great, and then it broke off in the output shaft when he tried to mallet it in for a better seal. I don't recommend this: http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B004KEHDS ... mp_s_a_1_1
