It's leaking where the transmission halves meet. I have fought this transmission out and in twice and it has been so frustrating. I want to band-aid fix it for a couple months so I can actually drive and enjoy it before I build up the desire to pull the transmission again. Anyone know of a good gear oil stop-leak?

Honestly you're better off using something externally rather than a stop leak that you put in the fluid.. The key will be to get the surface really clean, otherwise nothing will stick..

there's not going to be any magical snake oil you can add to the fluid to stop the leak. Where is the leak coming from? Can you tell? Of course it looks like it's coming from the bottom, but you need to try and source the leak to the highest point.

It's definitely at the bottom. Maybe 3-4 inches right of center.

when you say halves do you mean where the bell housing meets the block or the bell housing to the gearset/tailstock? im assuming the latter, i think thats just a silicone seal from the factory.
