Manual transmission/clutch??? problem

I just put in a new ka24de in my car and put on a performance stage 1 clutch. i put it in tuesday and been driving it around then all of a sudden on friday going back home. My clutch or transmission was doin funny things. For example, When i shift to second it grinds a little then initiates and does it sometimes in third but never in fourth or fifth and wen i put it in reverse i move but if i leave it there and dont move it grinds like crazy. it is fine when i down shift in every gear though. I have no clue wat is wrong and i need to know soon cause i am going to college in couple days...so Please help.

Have you looked into adjusting the clutch per instructions in the manual?

yea i tried that but still did same thing.

sounds like linkage possibly. Check that its getting you into gear everytime.

If the clutch engages properly, ie the car won't move with the clutch pedal pushed all the way down, I agree likely linkage/transmission problem.

As difficult as these things are to bleed.....I would double check that first....make sure that the slave is moving a good amount...if it only moves 1/2" then you know you have a prob..
