Anyone knows if the 370z and 2008 350Z trannies are interchangeable?

The 2008 is different from the early years.

I read on another forum that the bell housings of the two are shaped different so my guess is no they are not interchangeable but I do not know this from first hand experience. Another thing to think of is the brains for the rev matching. The 370Z has it. The 350Z does not.

You're better off finding a CD009 if you're looking for a new transmission

You could try swapping the bells - it's hard to tell from diagrams if they are completely incompatible, they aren't schematics after all. Maybe you can line up the pair of transmissions and look them over before purchasing. Of course any custom job is likely to find it needs custom solutions, so Dasoupdude's advice is probably best.
