Manual Transmission 350$?

I went to the junkyard today looking to buy a manual transmission . (In the midst of doin a 5spd swap). I asked how much the transmission was going to be and the guy said 350$. is that normal price for 240 trannies or is that just high? i thought it seemed a little high but if thats the price for trannies then thats what ill pay i guess

Way too high imo. You can normally buy the whole swap for that...

I figured it was too high, ill have to look at different junkyards, because craigslist right now is crap near me
