Did my five speed swap today, everything went real smooth till i started my car up and realized i couldn't get into 4th, 5th, and reverse. I did not drive the car around in the other gears. I bleed the system a few times, so im almost positive there is no air in the line (using a braid line, no dampener or anything like that).

My question is could i have miss adjusted the clutch at the pedal, or could i have a mis aligned throw out bearing? Any help would be great.

One more note i bought the transmission it shifted fine out of the car don't know if that means anything really, but it was sitting outside for three to four months.

thanks fore any help.

It's most like not clutch related seeing as how you can move a manual through the gears with the car off and the clutch disengaged. It sounds more like you have some synchros that aren't functioning properly. Is it possible that when you put the transmission in you droped something in the shifter hole and then bolted up your shifter and didn't notice it there? Might be worth while to pull the shifter back off and take a look. Hope that helps.
