MANUAL TRANS PROBLEM!! need help

i just did an auto to 5 speed swap and ive done three of these before. when the manual trans was out of the car its went through all the gears just fine. now when i have everything installed the car seems to be in gear when i have the shifter in the center (neutral)...it goes into the fifth gear and thats it but fifth gear wont engage when driving only when i stop...it wont go into gear no matter if the car is on or off except 5th...i cant seem to figure out the problem any ideas!!!??

i can see the fork moving though and when i press the pedal it disengages
