Need help pinpointing manual trans problem on my newly aquired 92 300zx TT (pictures and intro to come...)

Intermittently, shifting in 4th gear is nearly impossible unless i wiggle lightly/softly with shifter...no noise whatsoever once the shifter goes in...

Anyone ?

Does it make the same noise when downshifting out of 4th gear, as well?

I do not hear any noise...just wiggling lightly/softly with shifter in order to shift in 4th gear...everything else in normal...
