im contemplating on an auto to manual transmission swap for my 99 i30. which trans are compatible? possible 6spd?

Possible, yes, not quite simple though. You'll need to switch from rods to cables to shift it. My co-worker is sourcing parts for this swap right now. I'll post more as he continues.
