i was curious cause im doin a auto manual swap on my 96 in the very near future but i dont have the manual ecu yet now this may sound silly but will the manual transmission work with an auto ecu? thanks

the automatic transmission is controlled by its own computer AFAIK.

i did the 5spd swap and im still using my stock auto ecu. it works jsut fine. there is a separate shift conrtol computer you will remove when installing the clutch pedal since its in the way. plus with the auto ecu theres no speed limiter
