Manual to Manual RECAP..this weekends project!!!

so i think my '90 e transmission is going out..i have a spare '95 de transmission lying around... "bell housings are the same, all wires match up except one" is what i read when i searched...one more Q!! Can the drive shaft can remain the same???I'm swapping out these trannies this weekend depending on what people HERE say....

Yes the transmission will work.......the only difference is that reverse in the late box has a syncro on it.....(you never know the difference.) Swap it out

skrew doing it this weekend i'm doing it tonight...hopefully knock it out in a couple of hours between me and two other people...i'll let ya know how it goes....is was just thinking though...the 95 transmission i'm gonna use does not have a speed sensor..i hope the 90 one is capable with it....thanx for the quick answers ya...thanx..eric
