Manual Steering???

would I gain any power by converting my power steering to manual steering, removing the steering pump and belt???if so, would anything need to be done to seal the system?thanks for your help

you need to caps or bolts would work too, to cap off the 2 holes at the rack. where the steering column meets the rack, you will see where the powersteering lines go to. then engine will spin more freely and maybe a few hp gain. were talking about 1-3 hp the most.
