truthfully you guys should try search first , i talked about shift knob before, and which one works. so that you guys don't have to run into this problem after buying a knob that doesn't work.
A) Trash your shift knob, if you want to keep the stock one intact.

First off the question of the thread. There is no way it will work at ALL. unless you keep the knob at the very top of the shifter, then i think the knob look like pure ***. that just my take on it. Like i mention in the other thread. The following shifter work for sure:Sparco Globe X. ( the one i am using)Sparco Fast R.Momo Race Evo w/ Reverse up.Razo GT advance (Very similar to stock, but it doesn't look as good.)these shift knob are built with space between the knob and the shaft.
Now for the second question, i didn't figure out how to remove it, so maybe the topic started could say if he kept his originally in tact. i basically end up taking a die grinder, and hacking away the knob because i had already burnt it.
