First and foremost I would like to apologize if this has been asked and answered before but I am going crazy looking for an answer. I have a 2011 Altima Coupe SR with a 6 speed manual. I am constantly plagued by leaving my car on ACC to listen to music and having the battery die because I sit there for 3 hours. Having a manual I know that if you can roll the car you can pop start it using the clutch. The issue with this is the sequence that our car goes in with the push to start. I can never seem to get it right with the button. Where if we had a regular key you could just twist it to START, you can't really control what sequence the key goes. If anyone has figured out the right sequence to do this in (ex. put the car in ACC then roll, 2nd gear, push start button, etc). Would like to say thank you ahead of time as this is my first post on here but have been avidly reading for 2 years now. Thanks guys

Not sure how well this will work out for you. I would say getting a deep cycle battery would be a better bet. Something that can handle the discharge and still crank the starter. Or get an apartment so you don't have to spend so much time in the car ;)

I imagine if you just push the button so the ignition is "ON", you can then start rolling the car and pop the clutch. As with push-starting any car, a middle gear is probably a good choice, depending on how fast it's rolling. But you at least will need enough battery charge that the electronics can recognize the intelligent key and respond to you pushing the button.

Three hours sitting in your car listening to music?
The battery was not designed for that.
Why don't you use an Ipod instead of draining your battery?
