Hey I searched and couldn't find anything on this topic so if its been asked before I apologize for my ignorince.

I've been running my Sr20 on stock boost for more than 1500 miles raced a few times and just got a manual boost controller.

All the intructions say is to connect it to the Boost source and waste gate.

Now I have a good idea as to where they are located but I wnat to be sure. Does anybody here have pictures of what I'm talking about? Or install steps?Your help greatly appreciated. Thanks

boost Soruce = turbo Wastegate = where exess pressure is where released, Manuel boost contorl just extends the amount of time the actuator is closed giveing you more boost, but this might cause boost spikes which are bad, im pretty sure you just have to connect the vacum hose to your controler.

There are a few vacuum taps running off the top and body of the throttle body on a stock SR. The tops lines are vacuum lines, but the bottom ones are pressure only (boost). I think this is right, anyway. So what you want to do is run a hose from either side (just so long as it's getting boost) and connect that to your manual boost controller, then run a line out of the boost controller to the wastegate actuator itself. Then make sure you go easy of setting boost the first time so you can adjust it to where you want. You don't want to go out and boost 16 or 18 psi without warning. I hope this helps.

Here ya go. http://www.boostvalve.com/tech/IC_install.html

Very easy to install. Make your vacuum lines shortest as possible to prevent alot of boost lag. (keep the MBC in the engine bay not the ****pit) Hope this helps.

EDIT- WTF you cant say "KOCK" on here :rolleyes

Ignore A and B. F goes straight to the wastegate actuator. there is one vacuum line if I rememeber correctly that hooked up to the stock controller that you'll have to cap ;)

you can "t" the vacuum line off the bov, since it should be close to the wastegate

Go to your wastegate, trace back to where the vaccum feeding your wastegate goes. Tap into that vaccum hose and put your boost controller there. Real simple.

Take the one line that goes to the wastegate, and put the boost controller in the middle of it.

thanks for your reply. it such a simple install I couldn't figure out why the hell when I adjust it , it still hits 15psi at 3/4 throttle.

there is a t fitting on the line to bleed off boost because the previous owner was running about 20psi on his dsm. I will try removing this T and hopefully it will work properly !

hooked it up and the boost is still erratic.I just put a line to the wastegate... and the other line to the T . its inline on the vacuum line from the wastegate. I'm getting spiking to 14 psi in 2nd gear at 5000 rpm then it suddenly falls to 5psi. when I shift It has trouble getting back up to 7psi in 3rd gear ! not sure whats going on.
