I like the manual mode in my Q for its faster acceleration since you can shift later. Is there a detailed breakdown somewhere of how the manual mode works? The owner's manual says if you're in manual mode and you wait too long to shift, it will shift for you to avoid damage. Does this mean I could essentially use it as a sport mode, not worry about shifting at all and just rev it like crazy letting it shift for me? Would that be risky? What RPMs does it shift at?
