Hello everybody.

I've got an '85 720 4x4 and it has automatic hubs. I want to change them to manual. So far, the only ones I have seen were the Warn ones, which I priced pretty steep. Are there any other ones like off of a Toyota or a D21 etc. that will work?

I bet if you found some on a d21 that it would work. the manual goes from like 80' to 97' with main differences being motor and cab. most of the drive train seems pretty standard.

I have a set of super winch hubs on my truck! they work flawless, here in a bit i may be removing them in favor of a SAS.

superwinch is definatley the way to go. i have differnt front axles so i have a different spline bolt ratio but i got the ones for the suzuki samuri. but superwinch hubs are super good and you can get them on amazon for 100$.

I have a 85 720, with 26 spline. D21 sais they are 27 spline. The Warn are 26 spline but are pricy. The only other 26 spline I see available are for the Suzuki. Does anyone know if they will fit? Or have a part # of locking hubs the have used on the 84-85 720's?

This is not something I know a lot about, how you count the splines is confusing to me, how many splines do you count in this locking hub?

Ok, I count 27 splines. When counting mine there are 26. What yr did those hubs come off of?
