i have a swapped ka24de manual 93 240, it was an automatic and still had the automatic engine harness which i found to be a dud of a harness with multiple points of corrosion. i bought a harness online and it turns out to be from an original manual car, so i does not have plug for the tcm/tcu whciever you prefer to call it. is there a way to bypass this so that i can start the car. i need to run a new tps also. im just curious if anyone has done this and has some sort of directions or tips because im lost

Nissan calls the auto computer the ATCU. TCU is the timing control unit present on all cars regardless of transmission type. Your big concern is convincing the car that the clutch interlock relay is working. It's a relay on manual cars that closes a loop to activate the starter only when the clutch is depressed (Americans are stupid and can't figure out that clutches should be disengaged when starting vehicles). So basically, if you go to the two plugs near your battery tray that look like they should plug into something by the fender, find the plug that has the black/white and black/yellow wires and jump them. Now when you turn the key to start, you won't have an annoying relay inline keeping you from starting the car.

Just gotta make sure that from now on you don't have the car in gear when you go to crank it... you'll make that mistake a couple times a year (speaking from experience)
