In manual shift mode, is it normal, when downshifting, for the RPM to rev up several hundred RPM? I thought I once read in the owner's manual there was an "over rev limiter" that would prevent you from over revving the engine? If I did ever read that I can't find it now. For example, I'm in 5th gear (~ 50 mph) and manually downshift (1 pull back) and the transmission drops down to 3rd or 2nd gear, shooting the RPM up 1000-1500 RPM. This doesn't seem right.
