Hi everyone i'm new to the forums and I have just recently bought a 1989 180SX turbo. I have just put a manual boost controller and am now running about 11-12 PSI but for some reason I can't rev past 4000 RPM. If anyone has encountered this or know how to fix this please let me know. Thanks

Josh Chan

has the car always done this?do you have a catalitic converter?if it is a new situation did the car do anything when it started, noise, smell, weird cage reading, start smoking etc.

yeah i have to say that adding a non-electronic device seems unrelated to your revving problem?

perhaps during installation you unhooked wiring, diconnected something? idk

i wouldnt believe that true. stock is 7psi. and i was boosting 9psi on stock everything and ran fine. at 10 however it would stutter. but currently its going thru the process of the upgrades in my sig.

this guy from fresh alloy is parting out his stuff. it looks like the one off of ebay, but according to him it isnt made of that material. i hear the ones off ebay tend to crack but its used, so i can hopefully trust it.
