ok, everytime I try to turn the boost up on my Turbonetics MBC it does'int go up. It's either all the way on or off. could it be my boost autometer boostgauge? All the way on as in MAX boost. I'm trying to run 14 pounds on my T28 because I raced a SRT4 today and he pulled on me very very slowly. I had a 200 pound passenger. I'm running a Walboro fuel pump and 370 cc injectors. I'm running a 7psi at %10 percent duty on my injectors.. I'm not even close to maxing out my injectores. I know the Ka can handle 350 horses. I have a safc2 and wideband to tune with. I been reading about horror stories about the BTC. Plus I heard the safc retards your timming when you increase fuel. Anyways, my bov is very quiet now, it use to be very very loud, now it's just quiet, i don't get how my bov just changed. thanks..

When the MBC is turned all the way up, or where you are boosting 14psi, does the car feel faster?

I only did it 3 times. It felt amazing fast, i could'int keep up with the shifts. the last time I did it i blew my headgasket. The main REASON why I blew it was because I was doing a burnout and bogging out. But it usually bogs at 13 psi. I was stupid because I forgot to retune my fuel when I ran higher boost. Anyways, I know the t28 maxes out at 250 horses and the 370 maxes at 250 horses. I'm just trying to squeeze as much power as possible with my setup. I'm running a cosmetic headgasket now and hoping to push 14 psi safely by this week! Besides that, it does'int make sense, does the internal wastegate suck that bad?? I thought you had just as much adjustability. The srt4 was running 13.5 psi too, i'm not sure if thats stock or not.

Someone has got to know. I was boosting 16 psi today and it just keeps on climbing. It won't stay at 14psi!!!! It just keeps going. I'm just gonna get rid of my Turbonetics MBC and buy another MBC, probably the XS. I might just bend the rod or rethread it.

Depend on what spring is in the mbc. The stiffer the spring the higher your boost will go. Also more of small turn will make it jump in boost more.

Hey guys, nvm. I screwed the nut in and am curently running 12 psi all across. I guess the internal wastegate came adjustable. My turbo is off some Volkswagon,
