No pics yet... happened towards the end of the game. He was really slow and didn't see it coming. He was on the ground trying to get up, looked confused as hell and just gave up and laid there for a bit.

Tiki was sick though.

Manning (there are 2)Tiki (there's only one, thought there are 2 Barbers, twins actually)So she must be making some reference to the NY Giants game.

Eli Manning, a rookie QB, was in for Kurt Warner. The Giants had lost the game at this point, so they were getting Manning some playing time. I believe what Vicki is referring to was a play where Manning scrambling with the ball when he should have thrown it away. He waited a bit too long and got absolutely flattened by some very, very large men.

I don't think emphasized enough just how flattened he got and just how large those men were. Let me try to reinact it:Image 2 trains going in opposite directions heading towards each other on parallel rail tracks. Now imagine a very large rag doll stradling both tracks as the trains converge on its locations and the rag doll flailing about helplessly. That's about how it looked.

Only thing I've always hated is that all the games are consecutive... granted, it'd be hard to have it any other way, but it also forces me to miss a lot of games simply because I don't have time to sit in front of the tv for several hrs at a time. And by the time you get around to reading/watching the highlights, everybody will already be talking about it/getting over it so it's just not the same.

what was sad was the 49ers losing to atlanta. I'm so sick of hearing about micheal vick, and he's honestly the only reason why atlanta won today. he graduated from Virginia Tech, which is 45 minutes south of roanoke. If I could go the rest of my life without having to hear his name, i'd be happy. The 9ers needed a better defense against him.

The best game I watched today so far was the tampa vs redskins game. I at least made money on that one

Vicki - did you also see the Trottier hit on Feagles earlier in the game? That one looked like it hurt! Funny how the hit on Manning was almost identical to it...

I only caught the final quarter because I was busy.

Wonder if I can find it online.

The Super Bowl Champion New England Patriots won in a heck of a tough season opener. But, that's where the Pats play their best ball.... under pressure.

I swear... the average rate of cardiac arrest must be higher in New England than it is in the rest of the US. We can never have a decisive blow-out victory. It's always a close call until the very end.
