Just wondering about if anyone knows anything about a custom manifold to a VH45. Like how would a good aftermarket set up be gone about? Or is it best to keep the spider manifold? I have been thinking about it and i think a cross flow manifold with custom plenums and twin throttle bodies would do the trick, or even 8 tb's would work as well, but hassle trying to get them all working so on. Just thorwing out there if anyone knows wat a good path would be it would be much appreciated, as this is almost the only dilemna i have atm lol. and if you got an idea or suggestion do you reckon the above could support twin turbo set up?

Cheers

I like your signature quote...

Honestly the spider is about as good as you could ask for. Its specifically tuned for low and mid RPM, for really good driveability. You will really appreciate it if you take the upper and lower manifolds off and hook them up off the car. All equal length runners, quite a brilliant design. I would think that if youre going for good driveability that the stock manifold would be good to keep. if you want max HP maybe a new manfiold would be the way to go...

I would think the stock manifold could efficiently flow 700HP or so. Of course, it may be a good idea to redo some of the vacuum lines under the spider.

It all depends on your goals. If you want driveability, its hard to beat the spider as its proven. if it can lug a 4000lb car around at 1200RPM (40MPH) in 4th gear with the AC on up a hill.....

Regardless, what most people do is run only #1 and #2 runners for a basically straight thru for a manifold or ITB's. The stock fuel rail still fits tool
