manifold will not sit flush...need help

sup peeps, i am almost done with my sr20det swap. i ordered an s s autochrome ex. manifold, but it will not sit flush, because it is hitting part of the top of the head near the valve cover. i have removed the egr valve and the stock oil catch can. any suggestions. could i possible use 2-3 ex manifold gaskets to make it flush so it wont hit the top of the head near the valve cover?

I think I've seen a post with the solution before. you should do a search for it.
