any company out there that makes a turbo manifold with downpipe that has the egr tube port already plumbed in?

greddy, but it would be hard finding someone that wants to part those things from there kit. If you really want to keep it, your best bet would be to do it yourself or have a shop do it.

cheapo ssautochrome makes just what you're looking for.

many people knock em cause it's "cheap" but i and many others have had no problems with their manifold's, downpipes, exhausts, turbos, etc.... look on ebay. they are easy to find....

they come with the egt bung already installed on the manifold. i am not measuring egt so i had to close mine off with a pressure fitting from winkleys auto parts (a local shop, because home depot didn't have the pressure fitting i needed).

if you get one just make sure that you make a brace for the downpipe and preferably a engine torque damper... ka's have crappy stock motor mounts that let the engine move a lot... if it moves and the downpipe and manifold don't like it they will break for sure... if you skip on the downpipe brace you are asking for a cracked manifold. i braced mine down at the bottom where the block meets the transmission.

ok not to be rude, but actually read the post before you reply, i don't need a egt bung, i need a 'EGR' port for the recirculation tube. and why would i buy a manifold that you just told me would crack if it is shaken up???

because it costs a fraction of what other manifolds cost and does the job... in addition to this a lot of tubular manifolds will crack if they aren't given support and/or better motor mounts/ torque damper or whatever... the suggestion was more for tubular manifolds in general rather than the one i reccommended.

i was assuming you weren't looking for huge numbers. the manifold will do the job for what you throw at it.

egr is useless, eliminate it. egr is going to be screwy anyway because with a turbo you'll be running rich all the time anyway... you should be more concerned with a better cat than a egr, because the minimal cuts in pollution the egr will give you are dwarfed by a fresh cat's ability to cut pollution down. egr only kicks on under certain conditions anyway. just get some sheet metal and silicon and cover up the egr bung... it will clean up your engine bay a lot.

... i did read the post, but i read it wrong... we all make mistakes.

haha, umm some people just aren't satisfied with a product unless they pay too much for it...

Use your head. There has to be a welded in BUNG so that the EGT TUBE can screw into the manifold/downpipe. If we are trying to help you there is no reason to be a d!ck.~Sam

Actually, its not as easy as welding a bung on the DP. The factory EGR tube is a hard pipe and has hard connections. Unless by chance, the DP runs thru the EXACT same spot as the factory exhaust manifold the EGR pipe will not make it to the bung.

A DP would have to be designed around using the EGR system.

a screw driver and a vise (for lack of better tools on my part) can bend the last bend in the pipe just before the threads slightly more strait to extend its overall length. At that point it should be able to meet up with the downpipe.~Sam

just make your own downpipe instead of ruining one you spend money on
