im going to but some studs for my revhard today so i can mount the turbo to the manifold.

quesion, what studs to get for the manifold and downpipe and wastegate. manifold-revhardturbo-to4bwastegate- turbonetics evo wastegatedownpipe - 4bolt design

so i need 4 bolts and nuts for the turbo to manifold, 2 for the wastegate and 4 for the downpipe.

i was going to get hardned bolts, and heat treated nuts. good or bad idea?

I called RevHard for the size of the studs and then went to a normal part store to buy it. At the same time, go ahead and buy the locking nut for those studs as they should have it as well.

As for the wastegate and the downpipe, you use bolts. My dad works at shop so I just went through a pile of random bolts and tried to find matching ones that fit. Takes a little time but it works.

The Nissan exhaust manifold studs are the same threading and size and work perfectly. Most dealers stock them. And the corresponding nuts from Nissan are mechanical locknuts. Both can handle the heat and while not the cheapest hardware, they are not expensive. The nuts come in 2 versions as well. One is pretty much just a nut while the other has a washer-like width built into the base of it. You might want to get a hold the ones with out the washers and a few extra for the manifold as well. There is at least a couple of studs for the manifold to head connection on the rev-hard mani that are going to be a little tight and may have a hard time clearing a larger width nut.
